Looks like a nice bow, at any rate. There's a few strange mechanisms on it, got no idea what they do. Wonder who put 'em there

Doesn't surprise me. The Empire an' the Guilds don't exactly see eye ta eye.

Whaddya mean, whaddya mean? After the war, people who weren't too happy with the Empire anymore split off, made guilds, formed th' Union.

Uh, the Great War? Didn't I tell ya about that? It was when I was yer age, so probably at least fifty years ago. Jus' don't ask much more than that, 'cause I don't really remember why it was so great.

As fer the rest, they decided they didn't like a lot of the laws. How'd the Don put it? "If ya don't like the laws yer livin' under, ya either bear it or ya do somethin' about it." Or somethin' like that.

I see... If people wanted to leave the Empire so badly, something was wrong. I didn't realize people were so unhappy...
