About so-called selfish reasons. Is it not more selfish to have a child you cannot support nor love? Have you ever been in labor? Have you ever thought you just might die because you have only dilated 1 inch around your cervix and you have been in labor for 14 hours?
You are probably against welfare too. In my experience, people who are anti-abortion are also anti-helping anyone who has children. I wish to hell you could live my life for one day. I am a single parent. I work usually 70 hours a week in order to make ends meet. I get criticized for not spending enough time with my child and I get criticized when his clothes are getting small and I am waiting on a paycheck to buy more. Ever looked at your own child and wondered where the hell you are going to get his next meal? Have you ever walked a mile holding a baby because your car was a piece of shit and it broke down and you cannot afford a cell phone to call anyone to come get you?
And you know what? I am one of the lucky ones. I have gotten so much help from so many people. There are a lot of people that get pregnant that do not have any help. As a matter of fact, I visit a lot of these people everyday. The term used for people that do not have any help and their children are suffering is "environmental neglect." You can lose your children for this. You can be prosecuted and lose your freedom for this. Then the children are given to other people who get paid to care for them. Makes a hell of a lot of sense doesn't it?
So do not tell me that most abortions are for selfish reasons. That is crap.

Abortion IS mostly a selfish act, where a person decides bringing life into the world is an inconvenience, whether because of the financial burden or whatever. I am not for laws outlawing abortions, but personally, at this juncture, I wouldn't want to have my girlfriend or wife do it. That's my business...just like you might not.
But the point still remains that most abortions are, for all intents and purposes, a selfish act.

I'm usually a highly articulate woman, but I have no words for you that don't involve spittle, venom and more rage than I care to muster for your miserable, ignorant benefit.
You know nothing about which you speak, nothing about women, and nothing about life. You can give your litany of supposed experience in this world and your acquired knowledge that you have used to build your truths upon, but nothing you could say would sway me from my view of you.
I curse you for your small mindedness, I curse you for your failure of compassion, and I curse you for your ignorance. Unlike most curses, I do not curse your offspring, as unlike the Bible I do not believe that the sins of the father should be visited upon the children. Unfortunately for them they likely will be, but not because of a curse of mine.
Nothing I say will make a difference to you, but you deserve the weight of my fury, as you have earned it.
May you live a life as fearful, as lonely, and as dependent as the life you would condemn your 'wife or girlfriend' to if they were forced to carry a child they did not want, for reasons you clearly will never understand, and may you have as many broken dreams as you would wish for them.
