Also, Masterpiece aired the first half of their recent Tess of the d'Urbervilles adaptation this afternoon. I absolutely love Thomas Hardy, but Sunday afternoon is not the time to be immersing oneself in a Hardy plot. I had to get up and do something else after the first half hour or risk spending the rest of the day in a funk.

David Gregory looked entirely too pleased with himself today on Meet the Press. If he carries on with that I'm probably done watching the show.

There's a show on Food Network that just absolutely drives me up the wall. The show is "Cooking for Real with Sunny Anderson." It's another one of their daytime mediocrities cut from the same vapid cloth as Rachel Ray and Sandra Lee, except this time the producers annoyingly decided to incorporate some hip lingo into the title ( Read more... )
