This guy does some absolutely amazing shots, which is why I don't feel bad for using his work in this series frequently. This one was a handheld shot, which absolutely astounds me, because it's perfectly framed. Tomorrow will be something shot outside of Madison, but I had to put this up when I saw it.

I'm not sure which side of the Capitol this is (for those who don't know Madison, the Capitol has four nearly identical wings). The stone used on the outside of the building is Bethel White Granite from Vermont, and as you can see, it really catches the light and just glows. When you're coming into town along US-51 you can see the building from a good five miles out of town; it's one of the first landmarks uisinger and I look for when we come home from visiting my parents.
