OOC: I decided a text message would be the way she'd tell people- since that's how she told Goren last time... brief and to the point. And, well, I'm dork enough to post it that way.

From: Alex Eames
Ellie Dresden Eames born today. Weighing 7lbs and 4ozs. We're all fine but exhausted.

I'm actually glad the pregnancy is over- not that I disliked being pregnant, but it's nice to see David being able to take part more. We've now got this little baby that relies on us--she matters more than anything else--that's a huge responsibility that makes me nervous when I think about it... of course, I'm sleep deprived and no longer thinking straight.
Despite feeling extremely sore and tired, I do feel relieved. It all worked out better than I imagined it would. It's a good job my car works because David's car failed him- but he did great, which made it easier for me.
My birthday slipped by this year, it didn't entirely register that it was my birthday except for the brief moment where people actually told me otherwise.
