Here I am, a brain the size of a planet, and it's "Marvin, pick up that piece of paper..."

Well, the job switch is almost complete. My replacement is slowly taking over all my old tasks and duties, and I am moving into and learning my new ones. :)

Yesterday I had every intention (mainly b/c the schedule of things indicated I'd have the time) to call a bunch of different law schools to seek further info, as well as the FLEP/JAG people. Well, the best laid plans blah blah blah; I ended up on a patrol that had me getting back to the PB around 11pm. I had guard 4 hours later, so all I wanted to do was call Christie and brush my teeth and take a short nap before my guard shift. Ugh. Hopefully during this upcoming business week I'll have some time to call all these people and get some of the info I need.

So far, I still haven't found anyone willing to switch leave dates, but I am still looking. There are 2 (maybe 3) guys who are considering it, and I am hoping at least 1 gives in.

Like I keep saying; one way or another, I'm going to law school. I would just like to have the Army pay for it and work in JAG for a few years, but if I have to do it as a civilian, so be it.
