Jobs and Colds
So, I am once again employed! I got the job at the groomers as a receptionist. I'll be working about 20-25 hours a week, not sure what the hours will be, I have to meet with the head receptionist when I start on Thursday. The pay is decent too and she says that she will give annual raises but also sometimes gives raises when you do well or learn a new skill etc. so hopefully that will go well. I'm happy, it's a bit far away but not awful-about 30 minutes although it will take longer if I have to come in during rush hour. Everybody seems really nice there though and there are a few dogs that hang around-always fun.
On the less exciting front, I think I'm getting sick :( You know how sometimes you'll be sort of phlegmy but not really feel sick? Yeah that is how I started out yesterday morning and I kept clearing my throat to the point it was sore, OR maybe it just got sore on its own but yeah. I've been sneezing a few times today but also, I don't know if I'm really sneezing more than usual or I'm just more aware of it and think I am. My nose has started to be a bit runny too-then again this can be a good thing if my body is trying to kick out whatever the hell may be in me. I'll take some cold medicine and have some tea tonight and hopefully feel better in the morning. Right now my sore throat is the main thing and it's off and on. Like it will be fine then really sore then fine etc. This morning it was so sore I could hardly swallow :( but I took a throat lozenge and it went away. I've been having lots of soup and tea too. I had soup last night and then for lunch today and had tea last night and this morning as well and will probably have more tonight. Damn it I refuse to get sick!
