Pros of Using Some Vacation Time:

- I'd be able to relax
- I wouldn't be on call, so I'd actually be able to sleep through the night without being woken up
- I could get away from the city for a while
- No dead bodies
- No blood
- No hours wasted waiting for results

Cons of the Same Side of the Equation:

- I need the overtime
- I don't think I'd be able to sleep if I went somewhere too quiet
- I don't know where I would go
- And more to the point, I don't know if I could afford to go there
- I have three cases waiting to go to trial
- And I'm on call for the next two weeks -- summer's over at that point
