I don't know if this is new in town or not, but I just heard about The Community Food Co-Op, which is a project of the Crossroads Urban Center. I think that joyce participates in a co-op back east, and it seems like a great concept and way to get a community together for a common purpose.

I'll be participating in the co-op starting in December, and will post updates as time goes on.
