Same old reruns...
You know what sucks? That Bhutto lady getting killed. I listened to a news special about her a while ago on NPR and about how she was going to finally go back to her country, and I thought she was very brave. The poor woman... I hope her legacy does some good for the situation that she's left behind.
And it was a bad news day all around (depending on who you ask I suppose)... I had to open my big mouth about how nice it is to see Odagiri Joe on TV ads, and the next morning the first news story I see on TV is about how he's getting married to some actress barely out of grade school. >~< CURSES! To make matters worse, some of the female teachers were teasing me about it at school. --; Swell. I'm glad I haven't let loose that I like Toyohara Kousuke just as much.
And speaking of, I turned on the TV yesterday and to my delight they're rerunning Nodame! XD They ran the first half of the series yesterday, and they're finishing them today. HISASHIBURIII. I watched most of what was on today before I had to get out of the house, but I got a nice Toyohara-kun fix. XD
Yesterday I bought myself some new bedding... a second futon cover and fitted sheet, so I have some bedding to use while the other set is being washed/drying (already had another pillowcase, somehow..). I get the feeling that a lot of this vacation time is going to be spent doing girly, horrid things to my apartment.
Happy New Year all, in case I don't post again beforehand. Going back to Kobe on Weds, so maybe someday I will have internet at my place. --;
