17 December Saturday - 5:14 pm - At a coffee shop
The street was busy as usual but Ax just walked through, no one even gave him a second glance in his outlandish outfit. Ax just loved days where he went to meet up with the other band members, it gave him an excuse to get dolled up in his stage gear and be the character he truly was. He felt alive in the dark blue pin stripped suit and his red contacts in, like the vampire he strived to be.
Another benefit was the stress it helped relieve. For once he didn't have to think of Kanako's pregnancy and the hardship it will cause. Thinking of it now made Ax happy that his friends were going to be there, maybe they could buy him lunch and save him some of the money he was working hard and saving up for the baby.
It didn't take him long to get to the coffee shop, he had left without Jiro not sure where he was, for all Ax knew his cousin was working. He seemed to work twice as hard as anyone else and things could slip his mind in the rush. The door chimed as Ax entered and he looked around. When he saw the wild bush at a nearby table he headed towards it.
"Hey Yuuichirou," he said. "You should at least brush your hair when you go out." he teased as he took his spot.
Yuuichirou's cheeks turned a slight pink at the comment. "I believe I look good." he responded looking Ax in the eyes. It was hard to tell though with all of the hair covering his face.
"I still believe our band would be more popular if you cleaned up some, more visual kei. Your style is off too, a pair of plain jeans and t-shirt. So not sexy, you have to make your band mates want to make out with you." Ax said smugly as he placed his order.
"I'd rather not make out with any of you, and I am sure Rei wouldn't either. My style is fine its worked so far." Yuuichirou looked around hoping someone else would arrive soon and save him from Ax's interrogation.
"I still don't now how you managed to get a girlfriend and keep her longer then anyone else in the band." Ax said jealous of Rei, she was Yuuichirou's girlfriend and had been for the past four years. Ax couldn't even get the girl he impregnated to met up with him.
Wanting the change the subject Ax looked to the door waiting for the others to arrive. "I hope Maikeru can make it, it is hard to say if his dad will let him." Yuuichirou just nodded in silent agreement and felling bad for his friend.
