I put the soft top on the Jeep yesterday. I had to go buy a tailgate retainer from a dealer in order to put the tauntau cover on. I called ahead to make sure they had the part and they quoted me $105. is it safe to have your jeep wide open like that - espcially in the city? - i just drove by your apt - and your jeep was wide open for anyone to take anything - i hope you take the valuables inside with you- but it did look sweet

yeah, there's nothing in it except a half a bottle of coolant. And technically it's no less secure than any Jeep with a soft top since on all of them the windows simply unzip from the outside. I think it is probably standard knowledge among thieves that there would be no valuables left in a jeep at any time. Which is what makes you an "amatuer thief", heh... get it?
