You know I always meant to ask you, why don't you have default replacement eyes? You seem to like them on your founders. Just curious. Not that I don't mind reading your stories, obviously. :)
Mostly because I don't quite understand how to do all that. I've read the tutorials and I'm still trying to figure it out. The replacement townies, that is. I can change just the eyes? In a neighborhood I've already created?
Ok, default replacements are kind of like clothes... whatever you have already in game will still be there but you can make them look better...
Example: You have 5 colors of eyes; dark blue, light blue, green, gray, brown. They're the maxis type but if you where to want to make them prettier for ALL of your sims you would download default replacement eye colors. I have THESE (You have to scroll down to the ones that say DEFAULT SETS); set one for all the eyes but brown, that one is set two.
Once you download them you put them in your downloads folder. If you have all the EP's (especially Nightlife) you can make subfolders in your downloads folder to keep everything organized. If not then just put the open files in the downloads folder. You should make a subfolder labeled Default Eyes so you always know that they're there, just in case you want to change them in the future.

Since you have the rest of the EP's you could orginize you folders. Please believe me it's so MUCH easier to do it like that.

I personally like my skins to look more cartoony than real, well you've seen my defaults in my posts and HERE's a link to simrenity's page on organizing CC. :) Seriously, if you need any help let me know. :D
You seriously are the best, you know that? I will organize my folders and go from there. Right now everything is in my downloads folder and nothing is organized. :-/ That's probably bad huh?
And using your code would be awesome! I would kiss your feet a million times! It sucks missing one expansion pack since I've always had ALL of them :) But when my computer crashed and I had to install all of them again and after moving a dozen and one times, it took me a little while to find all my books. Like I said, I'm not very organized :)

Also that's a good idea to get your folder cleaned up before you add more stuff. I have a huge and messy folder but I'm slowly organizing it. It sucks that a lot of creators don't name their files right and since I didn't know at the time that you can rename your files I just added them in with all those random numbers and letters so now I don't know what some of them are. :/
Yes, you can change the way the eye colors look. They're still be the same colors but you can make them look better.. or different. I just find Maxis eyes very.. flat and dead looking. But that's my personal opinion.

I do have all of the EPs. Except OFB. Well i do have it, but I don't have it installed because I can't find my damn book with the code on it. Grrr.
