When Romeo picked up the phone that morning and heard Bobbi's lovely voice, he was absolutely thrilled. He felt he might not have heard from her again. He didn't know why she was so upset with him, but that didn't matter anymore. He was so happy it would finally be over with.
"I'll be there in a few minutes!" Romeo said excitedly as they hung up the phone.
And that he was. There in no time at all. And when he saw her......his jaw dropped. He couldn't believe it. She was pregnant!
Romeo ran over to Bobbi as fast as he could, feeling every emotion known to man.
And he wrapped his masucline arms around her.
"Oh, Bobbi! I can't believe this! Why didn't you tell me sooner!" Romeo said as he felt his heart beating a mile a minute.
"Romeo," Bobbi began.
Romeo screamed. *A manly scream of course* "So that's why you've been cranky recently. Oh my Lord. I can't believe this! We're going to have a baby!!!!!!!!" Romeo hugged her tighter.
"Romeo, slow down here. I need to.....tell you something, "Bobbi said not having a clue how she was going to break it to him.
"I love you, Bobbi. With all of my heart. You know that, don't you? And don't you worry about a thing. I'm going to get a job. I'm going to be the man here. I'll support you and...,"Romeo looked down at her stomach and smiled,"our little one. You have my word. Oh this is wonderful!!!!!!" Romeo wrapped his arms around her again.
But Bobbi backed up this time, "Romeo," she couldn't help but start to cry. She was going to break his heart and she didn't know how she was going to do it. She didn't know what to say or what to do at that moment.
"I know. I'm getting teary eyed as well. You don't have to say anything at all. THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Romeo screamed as loud as he could. Then he ran into the backyard to get into the hot tub.
"Come on babe! Let me give you a massage. I'll take care of you now, don't worry."
"Romeo, please get out of the hot tub," Bobbi said calmly.
"Let's celebrate! We're having a baby!!!!" Romeo was ecstatic.
"Romeo! No! There's no time for this. Please get out. I have to speak with you about something, Please! It's important" Bobbi began getting frustrated.
"Bobbi, you worry too much. Just get in here and relax."
"Fine!" Bobbi said raising her voice as she walked away, "Nevermind!"
Romeo noticed the tension in her voice and didn't want to make her upset once again, so he ran after her, unaware that what he was about to hear might possibly be the worst news he would ever hear in his entire lifetime.
Bobbi decided to be blunt.
"Romeo. You're not the father." Bobbi burst into tears as Romeo stood there in shock, saying absolutely nothing at first. With each minue he stood there and watched her cry, he became more and more furious.
"What?" Romeo said in a deep, yet calm voice.
Bobbi couldn't bear to look into his eyes, "His name is Joey. We had an affair, Romeo. Oh God!" Bobbi was now at this point, hysterical. She wanted to know what he was feeling inside, but was too afraid to ask. She wanted to know what he thought of her. She wanted to know everything but instead, she knew nothing at all. Nothing made sense to her. How she could have done this to Romeo? How could she have done this to herself? She had screwed up their relationship. She had screwed up her life. She had screwed up everything!
"I'm so sorry, Romeo," Bobbi said finally getting the courage to look into his eyes, "I'm so so so sorry. You have no idea."
Romeo said nothing. Didn't even look at her. He was just as confused.
"Romeo?"she asked.
Silence.
"Romeo, please talk to me!" Bobbi pleaded as she began to cry again.
"YOU WANT ME TO TALK TO YOU???? I'LL TALK TO YOU THEN!!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME??? HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US???? HOW COULD YOU MAKE ME BELIEVE THAT WE WERE GOING TO START A FAMILY TOGETHER??????? THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE'S CHILD INSIDE OF YOUR BODY!!!!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL ABOUT THIS, BOBBI??????? PLEASE TELL ME!!!!!!" Romeo screamed as he fought back his own tears.
Bobbi didn't know what to say. She just stood there and cried as she looked at and felt how angry he was with her, and she didn't blame him at all. She felt more alone at that moment than she had ever felt in her life. But as she looked at him, a thought crossed her mind,'Maybe, just maybe, he could find it in his heart to forgive me. I mean, he does love me, no doubt about that. Maybe we'll be ok. If we just talk about this. And work things out. Maybe it'll be alright. Maybe.'
"Romeo,"Bobbi started, terrified to ask the question, "Do you think you would ever be able to forgive me?"
Romeo paused.
"ARE YOU CRAZY WOMAN???????!!!!!?????? YOU HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY INSANE FOR YOU TO EVER THINK THAT YOU HAVE A CHANCE IN THIS LIFETIME TO MAKE 'THIS' UP TO ME!!!!!!!!! COMPLETELEY INSANE!!! DO YOU HEAR ME????????????"
As Romeo screamed his heart out at her, he noticed the ring on her finger, that he had bought for her in the very beginning of their relationship. He wanted to burst into tears but he was too angry. He wanted to tear her apart but he loved her too much. He would miss her terribly, but he knew deep down in his heart, he would never....ever....forgive her.
"I want my ring back, Bobbi," Romeo said.
"Romeo please, no!" Bobbi couldn't believe this was happening. It was over. Their relationship. Everything. Done. Finished.
"I want my ring back," Romeo repeated.
Bobbi began to cry, then screamed, "NO!! I REFUSE TO GIVE THIS BACK TO YOU! YOU LOVE ME, DAMNIT! YOU LOVE ME!!!!!"
Just then, Romeo's adrenaline kicked in as he slapped Bobbi across the face and screamed, "I DID LOVE YOU! AND I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME! But I was wrong." He felt terrible afterwards, for actually laying a finger on her, in which he promised he would never do, but was too furious to show that he cared in the least bit. He just took the ring, and ran inside Bobbi and Haley's home.
Haley saw the entire thing from the window and ran outside to help her sister.
"Bobbi, you ok?" Haley asked.
Bobbi said nothing but continued to cry.
"Bobbi, please, talk to me. Are you ok?" Haley asked again.
"He's gone, Haley. I blew it. I blew everything. I'm a screw up," Bobbi cried out to her sister.
"Bobbi, you're not a screw up. You made a mistake, yes. But everyone makes mistakes. Everything will turn out ok. You just have to believe that."
Bobbi continued to cry.
Haley reached over to comfort her sister but Bobbi resisted, "Just get away from me!!! I want to be alone!!!!"
Haley did as she wished and went inside to find Romeo.
She found him sitting in her bedroom with this blank expression on his face. He looked so hurt. So empty. She went and sat beside him.
"You ok?" she asked.
Romeo continued to stare at nothing.
Haley sat there, afraid to say anything else. But then he decided to speak.
"So you knew about this!" Romeo yelled, startling her.
"Yes, I knew," Haley replied immediately.
"How can you sit there and be comfortable with the fact that your sister and I are through! Do you not have a heart at all???" Romeo said taking his anger out on Haley.
"What are you talking about? How can you say that I'm comfortable with all of this? Comfort is the last thing that I have felt this past week. I hate seeing Bobbi like this. I hate everything that has happened. I just want things to be like they were, and now I know they never will be. How dare you say I don't have a heart! This has been tearing me apart!" Haley yelled back.
"Then why didn't you tell me!!!!" Romeo screamed at her, "Why didn't you tell me that your sister is a whore!!!!"
"Romeo, I know you're hurting right now, and I dont blame you one bit, but please, please don't expect me to betray her. She's my sister. No matter what she has done, I will love her always. I am so sorry that you got hurt. But unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to make this any better. I have learned that."
Haley got up from the loveseat, and noticed later, that Romeo had left the house without saying a word to anyone.
It killed Haley to see how much Bobbi was hurting inside, but it killed her even more knowing that she couldn't make it any better. She just needed to be there for her through everything.
For the rest of the day, Haley talked with Bobbi about everything that had happened, trying her best to make her feel a little better. She listened to her scream and cry, and she did her best to dry away her tears.
At times, Haley lost it herself and cried along with her sister. She hated this. It broke her heart more than anything.
She comforted her sister repeatedly that day. Not just because she felt obligated to, but because she wanted to. She loved Bobbi with all of her heart, and it tore her to pieces to see her like this. She wanted her to be ok. More than anything, she wanted her to be that fun and outgoing Bobbi again. She just wanted her to know that in time, things WILL get better.
But it was exactly the opposite for Bobbi. She was always in her bed, completely drained. She never wanted to get up. She got demoted from her job as Fashion Photographer due to lack of attendance. And to make things even better, her belly was only getting bigger. She felt she was dying inside. No, she felt she had died inside. She had nothing except her sister left in her life, oh and this baby. Not even an inch of Bobbi wanted this baby. It was Joey's baby. Why would she? She didn't want anything at this point. She was so extremely confused. And so very unhappy.
Haley invited their sister Gretchen over to maybe get someone else's opinion on the whole situation.
But that didn't do any good.
"Bobbi, hunny, wake up a sec" Gretchen said.
Bobbi moaned, "Leave me alone!"
She didn't want anything to do with anything or anyone; even her sisters. She just wanted to be left alone. She felt so empty inside. So completely lost.
That night, Bobbi woke up in the middle of the night, thinking she heard something outside.
After getting her clothes on, she went downstairs to investigate the strange noise, but she didn't see anything at all. But of course her being in the same spot that Romeo ended their relationship the other day set her off once again. She began to cry continuously. She couldn't help it. She was hurting so badly. Everything was falling apart right in front of her eyes.
Just then, she heard another noise. She opened her eyes and she couldn't believe it, "Oh my God."
