i only have one more day to be seventeen
today i registered to vote...crazy. i don't want to grow up, not that i am necessarily. i still act like i am five every now and then (haha sitara). i will miss 17 though, it was the greatest year of my life so far. so many memories, some seem like yesterday and they were last january...times flies by way too fast. but this past year has been amazing!!! i have had the chance to get to know new people, and become closer to the friends i already had. my faith is stronger and i think i have more confidence in that and myself. i learned a lot, not just in school, but through experiences and talking with people. yeah, seventeen was awesome!

Sweet seventeen
it was sweet alright, and it flew by! but there is more ahead, new exciting adventures and challenges. while it seems my childhood is ending, i don't think that is completely true. college...that will be a change. but there is so much more world out there that i haven't seen, and i have all these opportunities. "standing on the edge of everything" - soon it will be time to jump off the edge. but for now, life is great!!! starting tomorrow night, i will be partying for six nights straight! it will be so much fun! my favorite part of get-togethers is late at night when everyone just ends up talking about stuff. great conversations happen then. but anyways, i am excited about being able to hang out with all my totally awesome amazing incredible friends!!! y'all are the best! i hope finals are going well and y'all are enjoying your weeks!!! peace out.
