Happy things
I haven't been around much lately. I have been busy with work and other things, and I'm moving in a couple of weeks, and I'm just. So tired. *sigh* I'm missing tons of stories and ep reaction posts and vids and STUFF. I wasn't even able to watch SPN 4x14 until late last night, at which point I unfortunately became thinky, and yet I was too tired to write it all down. Instead, I went to bed and stared at towers of half-packed boxes all around the bedroom, and then I pulled the blanket over my head so I couldn't see them anymore. Heh. And I haven't had time to work on my j2_ever_after story, either, which is killing me because I have it all written in my head. But let us talk of happy things!
svmadelyn is doing her Valentine's Day love game again this year; all you have to do to participate is pick 14 people to give some love to and send her an email saying nice things about them. This is one of the most sneakily rewarding things I do each year, 'cause no one knows it's you saying those nice things. *g* Go here for details.
memphis86 is hosting a happy endings meme, specific to the Winchester boys and/or J2, and it's my happy place at the moment. So many wee happy commentfics!
deirdre_c has made a brilliant tribute to Kim Manners, in that the vid functions as a wonderful sort of meta-commentary about the show even as it's a gorgeous illustration of how talented Manners was as a director. The way he framed shots, created atmosphere, evoked emotion - she has captured it all here.
halfshellvenus, dotfic, mickeym, and wendy: you guys all delivered little shots of love at just the right moment this past week or so, and you're all awesome. *hugs!* Thank you, so much. :D Thank you also to all the people who were so kind in the love meme.
Ummm, that's all I've got, at the moment. You wouldn't think that after four short hours of being awake, I'd need a nap, but it's raining and cold and I'm sleepy, and sleep is a warm haven of packing-avoidance, and I've run out of small boxes, so. *pulls blanket up to nose and peeps out at you over the edge* When I wake up, I am going to actively seek out stories where boys eat pie and snuggle. Because that's just sort of where I'm at right now. If you know of any, feel free to point them out. *g*
