Vid rec. Also: illicit rumor!
I was afraid for a while last night that there would be no vids of Jared and Jensen's panel. I was like, come on, fandom! You pick now to get all respectful of actors' wishes and stuff, of all times?? When I need my J2 fix??? And lo, there are people coming through for me this morning. ILU, fandom. I take it all back.
In other news, an SPN vid rec: Impulse by antigonesgift. My initial response to this vid was to sit back in the chair and go wow. I'm incredibly disturbed by this vid's theme and story on multiple levels, but it's one of the best constructed reality vids I've seen to date. I think part of what makes it so effective is the editing; even when I know the context of the clips, she's used uniform re-coloring and reduction of what's seen on the screen, and a really effective combination of clips, to place the clips in a completely new and believable (and OMG disturbing!) context. I haven't been this freaked out by a vid in a long time. I just...wow. *g*
And now, for today's not-really-a-rumor that I'm proud to pretend to start. I'm ever so happy for Jared and Sandy. I think they are both totally adorable. However, to prove my fake tinhat has not been knocked even slightly askew by this turn of events, let us examine Jensen's choice of shirt yesterday. Jared was just recently in Paris, yes? And what is that I see on Jensen's shirt?
