Life is surprisingly... great. When was the last time that his life was great? It's hard to remember, through Tritter and divorces and just generally being House's friend/punching bag, but he can really, finally, officially say that things are great. He's dating a girl he loves, and she loves him, and even if she has some House tendencies -- so

And here, Wilson, have a non-House coworker, smiling a little. "Hi, Dr. Wilson. Good to see you."

"Cameron?" If House pulled this off, he did an excellent job. Maybe this is some sort of conference thing he forgot about? "What's all this about?"

[drcaresalot]

"Well. It's... a bit weird, actually. Would you actually believe me if I said we were in a hotel in the middle of nowhere and nobody can leave?"

[symbolificating]

He looks Dubious. "... no. But then again, I wouldn't have much of a reason to think you were lying to me, so I might actually believe you a little. Are you serious? How is that possible?"

[drcaresalot]

Srs Cameron is Srs. "Totally. And I don't know. But it's true. And... uh. There are fictional characters walking around in the flesh."

[symbolificating]

"... what?" He'd think House spiked his coffee with speed again only Wilson's heartbeat is normal and if he tries to say "symbolize" in his head, he manages to pull it off without too many problems.

[drcaresalot]

"Bruce Wayne made me coffee." This will be her repressing her that-was-so-cool expression. "Oh. And a while back I saw Elmo. ... That creeped House out."

[symbolificating]

"I think that would creep anyone out. How does that even work?" He holds up his hands and shakes his head, shutting his eyes tightly. "No, I don't even want to know." It dawns on him what Cameron just said and he tilts his head at her. "House? House is here? I just saw him at work. And you, too. How long have you been here?"

[drcaresalot]

"Yes, House is definitely here. Time works...a bit oddly here. He got here way before I did, and I'd just seen him at work myself. And I've been here... Few months short of two years, I think?"
