She appears suddenly, right in the center of the room. A girl of about eleven or so, with dark braided pigtails and a blue gingham gown. Her eyes are squeezed shut and in her arms, she clutches a little black dog. More remarkable than any of this, though, is her shoes-- ruby red and fairly glowing with a distinctly magical air.

Here, then, is one Wicked Witch of the East giving those shoes a look -- and then her eyes travel upwards to rest on Dorothy's face.

"I should say not," a little coolly. "For if we were, I would be in Munchkinland." And smushed by a certain house.

Seeing as she's never seen anything of the Wicked Witch of the East save her feet, she'll just smile (a little bewildered at the coolness) and curtsey.

"Yes, ma'am. I thought so, because you see, I was in the Emerald City last, and I know I'm not there, because everything there is green. But oh!" she says, "You must be from Oz!"

Well, those shoes should be peeking out from under her skirt. Suspiciously shiny shoes, incidentally.

"I would assume so, seeing as it is called the 'Emerald City'. But I've never been there, so I can't speak from experience." At the last, she gives Dorothy a cool smile -- but at least it's a smile. "I am. I am the governor of Munchkinland."

"There's plenty of places with names that don't make sense," she says reasonably. At the latter, she looks a little startled, but pleasantly so. "Really? I was in Munchkinland, but I only met the mayor." She bobs into another curtsey. "I'm Dorothy Gale from Kansas."

Ernst smiled politely and nodded to the girl, "No, you're not, I'm afraid. You're on the ship -- I don't know where we are, though."

"The ship? What ship?" She looks a bit distressed, but also cannot quite hide her curiosity. "I've never been on a ship before."

"Well -- I'm not sure, really," he looked sheepish. "I'm sorry -- but there are very nice people here! I -- I'm Ernst Röbel, miss."

Typist: Sorry, I thought that had posted ;_;

"It's very nice to meet you. I'm Dorothy Gale."

Typist: No problem! :)

Somewhat curious since this is another very young person appearing on the ship. "Oh." He smiles and bows. "It is not Oz nor any country at all. Tis a ship."

"Even a ship has got to be somewhere, hasn't it?"

"If I hadn't been here months without seeing land myself, I would agree, mademoiselle."

"Oh, my name is Dorothy," she says, misunderstanding the honorific. "That's very strange!"

"Other then that we're on a boat?" Roger smiled sympathetically. "No. No one seems to know where we are or where we're going."

"Oh." She frowns a little. "But, we've got to got somewhere sooner or later, haven't we?"

Elphaba has no reason to dislike Dorothy, as she is a Beginning of Act II Elphaba, so she will be wandering past, green skin and black skirt and pointy hat and all, looking through a few notes of hers and muttering softly to herself, deep in concentration.

Dorothy, on the other hand, has plenty of reason to dislike the wicked witch, and upon seeing her lets out a sharp cry of utter terror.

Elphaba starts and snaps her head up. She narrows her eyes at the strange girl staring at her in fear. Her voice is sharp, and biting. "What? What are you looking at?"
