Fred and George peer around a corner, looking into the main hall, gleeful expressions on their faces. "Oy, George, I think the coast is clear..."
"It is..." an evil grin spreads on George's face.
"Let's set it up then, yeah?"
"Yeah, do it."
Sneaking around, they place a few inconspicuous containers of liquid behind furniture, in vases, a whispy mist coming out. "Let's get out of the way before the potion starts to take effect."
"Good idea, Fred."
"Not bad, eh, taking a page out of Malfoy's book. The fumes'll do all the work without anyone having to drink the potion." Fred rubs his hands together excitedly.
"It's Christmas time, little brother. The least we can do is try and give a little holiday cheer yeah? Forgive and forget and all that lot..."
"Yup, they'll forget their problems."
"... or themselves. Hard to tell -what- they'll forget exactly. The potion wasn't perfectly stable..." George frowns thoughtfully.
Fred waves his concern away dismissively. "We did the best we could with it. They'll forget old grudges, or painful memories... it'll be great! Of course, how long it'll last is another thing..."
"Hmmm... you're right."
"We best hide ourselves somewhere and see what happens, yeah?"
"Yeah, let's go." And with that, they disappear up the stairs and discreetly watch to watch the antics ensue...
[Typist: That's right folks, the twins are back and at it again! Thought a little Christmas chaos would go well with eggnog, yeah?
So this is about forgetting, and I leave it to the typists as to how much or what the pups will forget, and how long the effects will last. It can be permanent, the potion really -is- unstable. Have fun everyone!]
