"His children are here." Lucy tells her, confidently, his children of course mean herself, Edmund, Susan and Peter. Her lip trembles some and she is struggling to be brave.

There is a brief pause as Jadis narrows her eyes at the familiar voice, and then she turns around slowly, a few drifts of snow blowing about in her wake.

"I see," she murmurs. She doesn't advance on Lucy quite yet, but her tone is menacing enough. "All four?"

Lucy is too smart to answer that question. "It is none of your business."

[jadisofcharn]

"No?" She echoes, reaching a hand towards her wand, before seeming to change her mind. "Very well. I have other ways of finding out, Daughter of Eve."

[followmein]

And Lucy tightens and steps back. "Which Dwarf summoned you?" For it was, after all, the dwarfs who had spoke of calling back the White Witch when Caspian was on his way to the throne. "You were dead."

"None of them," Jadis answers, a look of triumph on her face. "You think I did not have the power to return?"

She's lying, but nobody knows the truth about her return, including her.

[followmein]

"Greater have fallen and stayed down." Lucy tells her.

[jadisofcharn]

"And more will fall yet, once I am finished here," Jadis pronounces, almost as if she is making some sort of a promise.

[followmein]

"Arrogance only leads to an inevitable failure. We'll defeat you again if you bring your wickedness with you."

[jadisofcharn]

Jadis arches an eyebrow, glaring at Lucy, her hand reaching towards her wand again. "He has no power over this place, child."

Typist: This would be the perfect moment for a Caspian!rescue.

There is the sound of a sword being drawn and Caspian moves before Lucy, protectively. "You would do well to respect the rightful Queen of Narnia." He snarls some, chin held up with dignity.

Jadis eyes his sword with an idle sort of amusement, though she does not move forward any further. "And who are you to stop me?"

"I am Caspian, King of Narnia under High King Peter the Magnificent. Knight of the Most Noble Order of Lion." He tells her.

[jadisofcharn]

"I see. There is no need for me to go to Narnia, then, for Narnia has come to me."

[new_old_narnian]

"Or rather you have come to those who come from Narnia." Caspian corrects.

"I see your allegiance to the Daughter of Eve is strong," Jadis suddenly says, changing the topic.
