*because there hasn't been enough chaos in the Mansion lately (even though it did explode earlier) and because the typists would probably threaten him with make-up if he didn't do this, Crowley has decided that really, there's nothing more chaotic than a bunch of little kids running around and wreaking havoc ( Read more... )

Wolfram is already currently altered back to 8 years old but this makes his age fluctuate up and down, settling back again on 8. He frowns in confusion and looks lost all over again.

Then he starts to cry.

Dexter is decent with kids, and even though he usually doesn't feel emotion, he hates to see them upset or crying. So when he happens upon Wolfram, he can't help but pause for a moment.

"Is something wrong?"

He sniffles and looks up at Dexter. "What's going on?"

"I'm not sure. Is there anyone around who can take care of you?"

He thinks a moment then nods, but looks worried. "My brother.. and there is another, a black-haired man who made me some rice yesterday!" He's been 8 for a few days. Luckily he didn't lose more of his memory by coming in here, though it may have re-aged him slightly.

He pouts, "But I want my mother!"

This isn't going to endear the Mansion to him any. Gwendal's much younger, looks to be a teenager, but the first thing he sees is upset little brother. "Wolfram..."

"Brother!" He cries out when he sees him, running up to Gwendal. "What's happening? I went all big and then I went small again!" He looks very confused and finds nothing unusual at the moment at seeing Gwendal looking so much younger than the last time he saw him.

"I don't know what's happening. The magic of this place is odd. Do you feel well?" He frowns fiercely and examines Wolfram thoroughly. "You should stay with me until everything settles down." He doesn't dare ask where the Maou or the Sage are.

Wolfram remembers only from when he turned eight here - so at least he isn't wondering where he is again. He nods. "I feel OK..." He takes Gwendal's hand and looks around worriedly.

Now that he thinks about it, Gwendal isn't all that certain where he is now either, though he recalls the other people from their world who are here, who he wouldn't know at the age he appears to be. Have I said how much he hates human magic? Of course he assumes it's human magic.

"We should get ouf of this building. Do you want to see the horses?" He knows there's horses nearby, and there is no way he's letting go of his little brother's hand.

He nods vigorously, feeling a bit odd, if not exactly sick, in this place. He's going to stick by Gwendal too, so lets him lead wherever he wants to go - preferably out of the mansion.

And this would be Gwendal leading Wolfram out to the stables, or the barn as he'd been calling it, where the horses and various other odd live-stock were housed. "I think horses are wonderful creatures. Don't you?" He lifts Wolfram up so the boy can see into the stalls more easily.

He nods. "When I grow up I want a big white horse to ride on!" He uses his hands now to indicate as big a size as he can manage at his small arm's length.

"Well, by then I'm sure you'll be able to ride well enough to control a bigger horse, whether he's white or some other color."

Gwendal puts Wolfram down, because he's not really strong enough to carry him for long. "Do you want to see the others?"

"All right," he looks more relaxed talking about a subject he know because of course they have horses at home.

He lead Wolfram to the next stall. "This one is pretty. Black." And lifts him up. "Do you like him?"
