It is also probably wise not to explain the bit about god and the vegetable garden. Kay already has big respect issues, where Percy is concerned.

"Well, sir, though the same might not be said of Camelot," Kay answers, then to the second question- "To have had difficulty arriving, would imply that I meant to do just that." This really isn't the case.
