Only a moment ago, the tall knight had been preparing to mount and ride out in search of glory. --Giants to slay, green (which is to say young and inexperienced - don't worry Gawain) knights to defeat, maidens to rescue, that sort of thing.

But now he finds himself, not in the courtyard he expected, nor even in sight of Camelot, but rather someplace wholly unfamiliar.

...Never could it be said, of Sir Kay, that he is frightened easily. But even as a Knight of the Round Table, he is not above surprise.

So when the tall, dark haired, mail-clad, man walks in, gawks wide-eyed at his surroundings, and demands to know "What witchcraft is this?" it's probably quite apparent that he's a new arrival.

[ooc: New to DF, Sir Kay, another Arthurian. There is a friendly disclaimer of sorts in his journal.

Back for threading.]
