Every Magician Needs an Assistant

Oct 30, 2006 16:41

Every magician needs an assistant. And so, here she is.

Her hair is curled and falls in ringlets and her outfit is quite saucy for the time (she's Victorian, but surely you would not guess it), the skirt cutting off a few inches above the knees, exposing layers of petticoats that give her skirt volume and body and she's wearing neither shoes nor stockings (Oh no! Ankles!). Her eyes are bright, and alert, memorizing everything.

Her memory is exquisite after all. Give her a list of numbers and dates, tell them to her just once and she'll recite them to you backwards and forwards.

"Robby?"

She steps forward, boldly, hands behind her back and allows her head to tip and study her surroundings. "...Oh my. How very quaint." Like most arrivals, she hasn't a clue how she arrived, or where she is. "What Wizard has brought me here? Surely this is magic..."

She's speaking to herself, of course, in a quiet whisper before letting a delicate frown touch her lips.

"...Hello? Is anyone there?"

Again, the young woman will venture forward, deeper into whatever part of the Mansion she's wandered into. "I think I am lost. Can anyone help me, please?"

Typist: Where would The Great Danton be without Julia? Julia is from Priest's The Prestige. Surprisingly? Victorian. So she's quite well mannered. She won't bite.
