Is anyone here concerned about what their fiance, husband, wife, girlfriend or boyfriend is up to? Do you worry about them cheating on you or flirting so incessantly with other people that it could possibly lead to more? Do they actually do these things and if so what do you do about it

"No they do not flirt? That is lucky for you."

He does not flirt, and I have no reason for concern. *halfsmiles* I am very lucky, yes.

[demonfiance]

"I wish my own fiance was as yours."

[botticelliangel]

*wryly* Many do.

[demonfiance]

"Do you think it is only luck or is there some other secret?"

[botticelliangel]

Few people seem to realise than love bears little relation to the romance of one's expectations. It is difficult, often frustrating, and takes a vast amount of work and compromise to keep alive. I suspect that luck has very little to do with it. It is, rather, the commitment and determination of both involved parties to remain together in spite of anything.

[demonfiance]

He answers quietly. "I do not know how Yuuri really feels about me."

[botticelliangel]

Then that is something you ought to discuss with him.

[demonfiance]

"I have. He says only that he likes me and that I am a good friend." He realises that this may sound strange for an engaged couple so he adds: "Our engagement was an accident that can't be rectified."

[botticelliangel]

*raises an eyebrow* .. An accident?

[demonfiance]

"There was a misunderstanding when he arrived in my world. He did something that equated a marriage proposal in the culture of our nobles."

[botticelliangel]

And you could not refuse? Can neither of you break the bond, if it is unwanted?

[demonfiance]

"It is complicated and as he is the Maou - the King - it would have created a scandal. He refused to take back what he did at the time and I did protest but... what is done is now done. Now, though, I do not regret it."

[botticelliangel]

You love him, then?

[demonfiance]

He speaks softly. "I love him, yes and I care for him and I would die for him.. but I am not certain if I am yet in love with him."
