With an air of utter authority, a (somewhat small) young woman strides to the direct center of the mansion. She wears a dress in the military style, vibrantly hued in green, blue, red, purple, and yellow. She carries no weapons, though, unless one counts the deadly sharp needles, thrust through the back of her hair. She surveys the room with an air of ownership, then speaks in a loud, clear, and ringing voice.
"Ladies of Desperate Fans! I am General Jinjur-- I have come from Munchkinland and I have wrested the Emerald City from the tyrannical, patriarchal reign of His Former Majesty, the Scarecrow. I have raised my army of girls from all corners of Oz and come now to raise the women of Desperate Fans. I will see my army armed and clothed--" (and at this, a sweeping gesture to her own garish costume) "Girls! Come to my side, for too long the community has been held in the unjust hands of the men-- it is time for we girls to band together and take power at last for ourselves!" As she speaks, her body loses its military rigidity and she waves her hands and punches the air, a flush of fervor rising in her cheeks. Her gaze sweeps the room as she speaks this last statement, glancing around for any willing to support her. "Come! We will raise a fearsome band, and no man will dare oppose us! Who will stand by me?"
