Hello. My name is Petunia Dursley. I live in a wonderful home in Surrey with my charming husband Vernon, who works for a company that makes drills, and my precious son Dudley, who is currently attending Smeltings School. Very prestigious, you know. We are proud, upstanding citizens, and do not abide any nonsense, such as... certain types may ( Read more... )

Would you rather I send someone else over then? Mad Eye Moody perhaps? Or... Lily?

I still have to get used to seeing you around, but thank you. Yes, I do think a nice chat between you and Mrs. Dursley is in order.

Also... on a side note... Could I have a word with you? You know... elsewhere? I have a question to ask sortofaboutRon. And you're the only witch I know that's a little... older. I don't want to ask Pomfrey or Merlin forbid... McGonagall.

Sure, Hermione. I'll be glad to help if I can. Where/how would you like to talk?

I could have my typist email you? She insists I have an email address that is available for your use: most.gifted.witch[at]gmail[dot]com.

I don't have my own e-mail address, but my typist promised I can borrow hers. I'll have her e-mail you through that in a while (she wants to have dinner first).

Yes, I myself am quite confused to this "certain types" as well. Are they of lower breeding? Do they have no fortune? Or...no dowry, perhaps? For what reason could they deserve your contempt?

Apparently... Mrs. Dursley over there has a rather distorted sense of "normal". She insists that everyone who doesn't love her tyrannical dolt of a son and doesn't behave EXACTLY like them is... "a certain type".

I do believe you may have encountered some like her yourself, sir. Gossip-mongering, ill-talking schemers, in your world.

Indeed I have. Too many for my taste.

My suggestion? Stay away from this one. I have never seen one quite this vicious.
