My typist has suddenly found it advantageous to allow my return after nearly a month's inactivity, during which she participated in something known as "finals," and a rigorous period of preparation for the tiresome things.

Of course, Erik does not appreciate being ignored.

Erik has since taken to some of his... old habits. If any of you happen to be familiar with a young devil woman by the name of Luciana--and I most sincerely hope you are not, unless you are a Vicomte named Raoul de Chagny, in which case I must introduce the two of you--you may find it pleasing to know that she has been... dealt with.
