Hi. Um. My name's Ghost. I...come from a little town called Missing Mile. It's in North Carolina. Grew up in the mountains there with my grandmother, Miz Deliverance. My best friend and I, we have a band. Lost Souls? is the name. Apparently it's the title of a book we're in, too. And yes. The question mark is supposed to be there.
Anyway. Steve...he plays guitar. I sing. We've been touring lately. Kind of get homesick after a while. Never knew I'd miss kudzu so much. But...it's good anyway.
I'm really sorry. I'm no good at this. The girl here (calls herself my typist) says I'm a lot more interesting than I'm letting on. I say I'm just here because I need something to keep my mind off of...things.
I guess we'll see who's right on that over time.
Typist: Er...sorry. Touring the US = sleepy Ghost. He's not usually quite so out of it. I swear. And here's hoping I can manage for a little while without the book for reference. I can't seem to find my copy. If you didn't catch it, though, he's from Lost Souls? by Poppy Z. Brite.
