My name's Peregrin Took, though everyone just calls me Pip or Pippin. Some courier arrived at Crickhollow earlier today, saying he had an urgent message. Urgent indeed! Couldn't even let me finish my second breakfast! The NERVE! And then... as if I could just pack up and whatnot, he said that I absolutely HAD to come here. Something about it being very urgent that I do so.
So... is there any food to be had here then? What about a good smoke? Longbottom leaf perhaps? I could do with a bit of pipeweed, I've run out, you see.
Either way, I suppose you fine folk will tell me what this is all about then.
