Niko is mainly looking, at this point, for elves, because he has IMPORTANT things to tell them.

But he'll be polite to anyone who speaks to him, of course.

At least he likes to pretend. Anyway, Fingon doesn't really mind being in the midst of things, and is sipping (of course) a glass of water, listening to the music and letting himself relax. Just a little.

Not much, though. CONSTANT VIGILANCE.

Once he's spotted the braid, Niko wanders over. He clears his throat - even if he knows Fingon can hear him, and bows a little.

"Your Majesty." The title is almost a nickname, by now.

Fingon looks up and almost smiles, pleased, certainly, to see him, and inclines his head. "Niko. Good day." He's somewhere more...at peace with some things. It is probably because he's been spending goodly amounts of time with Galie, if we had to ask.

Niko smiles a little - he likes to see his friend doing well. "It's been a while. How have you been?" He closes the distance and offers an arm clasp.

Fingon takes it, gladly, his grip as firm as ever. He's still a little too pale, and tends to cough more easily than he should, but all the same. "I've been - well." Which isn't a lie as far as he's concerned. He's better! "It has been a while. Gratifying to see you in one piece." It's almost amusement. Almost. Not quite.

And even more so now that he's involved with Jaenelle.

His smile dies, a little. "I must think you felt the disturbance - recently." Morgoth sized disturbance. That was pleasant. Fingon's throat attempts to close up and he swallows hard.

Fingon looks a little uncomfortable and does not ask Niko to define trouble. "Weren't all in this place?" Evasively, perhaps. His lungs tighten, just to remind him of how epically badly that went.

Fingon is a stubborn, stubborn idiot and looks back at Niko, somewhat stonily. "What I do is my choice, is it not?" Yes, a little irritably. And perhaps just a little petulantly.
