Where Jon had felt the crunch of snow at his feet, he now heard the crackling of leaves being stepped on. It was spring out, no longer the endless winter of home. When he saw the mansion up ahead of him, he became even more confused.
The Wall was gone, right before his eyes the whole landscape changed. He had just gone out for a quick walk with Ghost, to get away from the troubles of being Lord Commander, at least for a little while. He never expected that he would somehow be transported to a different land, how could he have?
He doesn't believe he is dreaming, he hadn't been tired and even if he had, he would have never allowed himself to fall asleep in the snow. If he did, it might have been the death of him if Ghost couldn't get anyone fast enough.
After encountering a wight for the first time, strange occurrences such as this didn't really surprise him anymore. He just wanted to get back, he had a job as Lord Commander to attend to.
Determinedly he decides to find someone who can help him get back, there had to be somebody in that blasted mansion up ahead. Ghost was trailing close behind him, also determined not to lose sight of his master.
Typist: Another A Song of Ice and Fire character to be introduced. This time it's Jon Snow, the bastard Stark who has recently become the 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself, just watch out for the huge direwolf at his side.
