Well, er... here we are, then. My name's Charlie Weasley. Looks like most of my family is already here (hullo!).

Not much to tell about me. I grew up in Ottery St. Catchpole, went to Hogwarts, played Seeker for Gryffindor, and ended up working with dragons in Romania. (It's more interesting than it sounds, I promise.)

Oh, and I'm in those ( Read more... )

In that case, I'm surprised you find time to be here at all. Welcome!

Buggered if I understand why everybody can't tell the difference between a Ukrainian Ironbelly and a Romanian Longhorn, but you get a lot of glazed looks when you start talking about it. It's not like it's difficult, really, I mean the depth of the imprints from the talons alone should...

... but, er, I'm starting to rant a bit, aren't I? Nice to meet you, thanks for the welcome.

Dolohov, eh?

You're a Death Eater and that's the best insult you could come up with?

Would you like a moment to yourself so you can think of something a bit more worth my time?

Charlie! I haven't talked to you in longer than I've (or had, actually) talked to Bill!

I missed you like mad, as well. I'm doing fine, how about you? Anything fun and new and a lot more exciting than things here?

Welcome. I know what you mean, I was only in a small segement of my books as well though at least you won't get killed off in the movies (not that I'm bitter either).

Mun: *clings* Don't worry, Charlie, we love yooooou!! *fangirls madly* *and hates HTML with a passion, sorry 'bout the deleted comment*

Yeah, well, we'll see about that. They're not too concerned with "canon" in those movies, they're much more worried about "pretty hair" Good to know I'm not the only one. P'raps there's a support group or some such. And I suppose I shouldn't complain... at least I've got a shot in the next two books. Not holding my breath, though, if the amount on the royalties cheque was any indication.

Hullo, you're friendly! *basks in adoration*

Actually I don't mind having a smaller part...were I as well known as, say, Legolas I think I would be forced to do something drastic. Fangirls are frightening.

Mun: You're my favorite Weasley, you know. *grin*

Yeah, you're right, the other extreme's no good either... 'course, if anyone were as well-known as that chap, I think the world would explode from trying to contain so many fangirls.

If you're trying to turn my head with your flattery, you're doing a bloody good job of it. *grins back*

*is a main character in his book, and has trouble not looking smug* Ah, hello, Mr. Weasley. I think you'll find things here to be fairly... interesting, as well, and only marginally less dangerous than working with dragons.

Bloody main characters, it's favoritism, that's what it is Yes, I'd gathered that things were... interesting here. Did I get the significant pause right? Looks like I'll be doing it a lot and all, so I want to make sure I know how to use it.

And dragons? Dangerous? Bosh. Once you know how to handle them they're just a bunch of giant, scaly, fire-breathing, flying, spike-tailed pussycats who happen to want to char you into a crisp and eat you.

Your series has simply so many inhabitants, really, you're lucky to get as much pagetime as you've gotten!

Yes, your significant pause was very good. You've obviously had practice (must be those twins being your brothers).

Sounds rather like Crowley...
