"Jury's out. I'm going with 'This Land,' as vague but accurate." Molly smiles a bit. "Nothing else would be more helpful anyway."

[startling_blue]

"'This Land,'" Blue mutters. "Right." A bit awkwardly, she cracks a smile and says, "I'm Blue."

[knightsdaughter]

She smiles back. "Molly. Hi. If you want to think of a better name, I'm all for it. No one to contradict you."

[startling_blue]

"I'll think about it," Blue laughs. Glancing around, she feels compelled to ask the most obvious question, namely: "How did I end up here?"

[knightsdaughter]

"Um...it's probably going to sound crazy, but magic is the most likely answer. Well, unless you were someplace dangerous - then you might be dead. But I got here by magic."

[startling_blue]

"Magic. Right. Um - I was in my house. Where there was not, nor was there ever, any magic of any sort... but okay, I suppose anything's possible at this point," Blue sighed.

[knightsdaughter]

"Well... there may be more magic than you think - lots of people don't know about magic, where I'm from, but it's there. Unless you've got a better guess."

Blue nods, trying to open her rather logical mind to this possibility. "I admit I don't," she says. "I guess stranger things have happened."

[knightsdaughter]

"And hey, better magic than dead, right? Or I think so, at least."

[startling_blue]

"There is definitely that, yeah," Blue agreed.

[knightsdaughter]

"Can I ask where you came from?"

[startling_blue]

"North Carolina," Blue replies. "At least, that's where I was living most recently. Dad and I move around a lot."

She nods. "Finally, someone who's heard of the US. You'll find that's a minority."

[startling_blue]

"Is it?" Blue asks. "Sorry I'm being so annoyingly inquisitive, but - what sorts of people end up here?"

[knightsdaughter]

"Well, most of the ones I'm hanging out with are knights. Like... king Arthur, holy grail kinda knights. I'm teaching them poker. But there are all kinds of people. My teacher ended up here."

[startling_blue]

"Knights? That's really kind of... incredible."
