Blue was, to put it in terms her father would have hated, pissed. For the first time in her life she'd been making friends (and all right, they were a little bit crazy and sometimes she hated them and assumed they felt the same, but - still); and besides that, he'd promised they would stay the entire year. She was intent on fuming alone for as long as possible - but, for Blue, that wasn't very long.
Hesitantly, she tiptoed down the stairs and opened the door to her dad's study. "Dad? I - uh..."
It wasn't the study, though. It didn't look familiar in the slightest. "Damn it," she muttered. "Where am I now?"
