Winsol! (Open Post)

The decorations are still up, and in a large open room somewhere in the Mansion, Jaenelle's set up a party. It's a curious melding of Christmas (or what she knows of it) and Winsol, with a tree in one corner, presents stacked underneath. The music playing, however, is pure Blood, food is laid out, and the cup is somewhere for all involved to share

There's not a bird lurking out the window.

It's a bear. Probably purposely, because he's hoping it will amuse the Blood.

Merlin sure would love to join in the fun - he's just not sure he's welcome.

Lucivar knows that psychic scent. And while it's not precisely a welcome, the window is open, oddly for the weather, and while Lucivar at least is certainly still ticked off at him, he's welcome to come in. It's Winsol. And there are other Blood who aren't so touchy.

Well then. Merlin changes to a bird, flies in, and shifts back to human form once inside, to close the window.

He's letting people come to him, though.

Here, Merlin, have an adorable little girl who comes over and beams up at you.

"Happy Winsol."

He gives her a grin. "And to you too, sweet flower."

"My name's Arianna," she corrects him, mildly.

[myrddin_wyllt]

"And I am Merlin, Arianna." He gives her a bit of a sad smile.

Even children have issues with him. Great.

She brightens, immediately. "H'lo, Merlin. Nice to meet you."

She curtseys.

.... that's unexpected.

He bows as well, just a bit of a wobble, really.

"It's very nice to meet you." He gives her a grin.

"You too. Happy Winsol, do you want food or a present or anything?" Taking his sleeve and tugging him forward already.

He's letting her tug him, and kind of sighs, a little.

"Just... wherever you want, Ariana."

What the hell.

"Come find your present, then!"

[myrddin_wyllt]

Huh, alright. This is so strange.

"I... I don't think there is one for me, Ariana."

[cuddlemequeen]

"There's one for everyone." Still tugging.

[myrddin_wyllt]

"Ariana." He pauses. "Your family is angry with me."

[cuddlemequeen]

She shakes her head. "Just look, okay?"
