A half-grown boy, it looks like at first glance -- but no, he's more like eighteen or twenty, just small and skittish. He looks stunned for a moment; then his chin lifts at a defiant angle.

"Gawain? Where's thou gone now?" The accent, vaguely Scandinavian and vaguely Scottish, is noticeable.

And you thought Mordred was cute annoying as an adult.

With relief, "My lord!"

Sagramore vaguely remembers being here before, so he's not quite as disoriented.

Mordred looks around quickly, and makes a face. "I've told you--"

[le_desirous]

"Forgive me!"

[illgotten]

"Christ," resignedly. "Where did you come from?"

[le_desirous]

"I do not know. It is he told me a kind of enchantment, but not a quest for us."

[illgotten]

"Well, that's fine." Mordred scowls. "Whose?"

[le_desirous]

"He did not know."

[illgotten]

"Christ."

[le_desirous]

"Forgive me, sir," mildly.

[illgotten]

Which is mildly comical from one teenaged boy to another, probably, if you're not one of them. Mordred folds his arms tightly, looking away. "I don't like it, that's all."

Sagramore glances around doubtfully. "I do not think there is a danger."

[illgotten]

"You wouldn't," darkly.

[le_desirous]

"Truly I do not."

[illgotten]

"Right up until you drown."

[le_desirous]

"Drown, sir?"
