He steps inside quietly, closing the door behind him, the distracted look on his face changing quickly to one of confusion and then wary suspicion. He looks around with very bright, clear blue eyes, his face sharp and delicate and less handsome than beautiful. But if someone were looking closely, if they were very observant, there is a hint of something odd about his shadow, and strange about the soft leather boots he's wearing; and more alarming are those same striking eyes.
Bast frowns more deeply and shakes his head slowly. Strange, yes, but not hostile, at least not directly. Though - damn. He turns around and opens the door again, his eyes lightening to a slightly paler blue as he looks out at the wide expanse of grass and forest in the distance. He closes the door again softly, and stands thinking, without moving.
