She is suddenly in the main room, as if she has been there for a long time. Perhaps she has. She is neither strikingly beautiful nor plain, but rather a woman who was likely once beautiful, some years ago. Now she just looks tired and impatient and says, "Whatever it is this time, at least it's new."

Morgause, fashionably late as usual, pauses at the foot of the stairs and then sweeps towards her. "Well," she says pleasantly, "you see fit to join us at last."

She automatically drops into a small curtsy. Unlike Lynet, there is nothing one could point out as insolent in her manner, though she also seems to lack Lyonors' sweet sincerity. "Your Majesty.
