Darker than wickedness was his hair, falling unbound past his shoulders. As compelling as forbidden pleasure was his countenance.

He has made his home a part of the forest, should any maiden take to wandering on this autumn day. The change in living space is not lost on him, but he is not upset by it, this new place has much more life than his old home, such beautiful life, he longs to have it, to hold it, devour it. He prowls, hunting for innocents.

T: Not your regular newbie. Cancanagh or Ganconer is the love-talker. He has magic of his own, but despite looking very human (if a human can be so perfect), he is not, and nor is his magic. The only use he has for it is to lure young maidens to love him, love him completely and waste away from the intensity of it.
ETA: From Cecilia Dart Thornton's Bitterbynde trilogy.
