After Freyja's recent display of power from her willing sacrifice, Freyr is feeling jealous and left out, and has accordingly challenged his sister to a competition. It is not a very fierce competition, at least at the beginning, but it largely depends upon whether you'd rather deal with a highly shiny male fertility god of peace and prosperity or

Draco is drawn in easily at the moment as he certainly needs some happiness after the last two months of being miserable. Even so, as he approaches his tone is rather curt, "Who are you?"

"Freyr, the god of peace and prosperity." Freyr smiles at him, welcoming, not minding the curtness.

[dracoslytherin]

"Prosperity?" He looks interested at that.

[nordicsunshine]

"Joy, fertility, all the good things in life." Freyr grinned, bragging a little, but that's also in his nature.

[dracoslytherin]

He scoffs. "I don't need any kids... But you're a god, you said? What can you do for me?"

[nordicsunshine]

"Wrong question," Freyr teased, albeit gently. "I can do anything, within the bounds of peace and prosperity. I can control weather, grant long life and riches. What can you do to earn my blessings, mortal?"

[dracoslytherin]

"Earn? I don't know.. What does a god need in return for peace and endless riches?"

[nordicsunshine]

"Flesh and blood sacrifice, better if it's willingly given."

[dracoslytherin]

He raises his eyebrows. "You want me to kill someboy who.. agrees to it?"

[nordicsunshine]

"Not necessarily. You might offer yourself, for your own prosperity. I am a god of peace, and I've never preferred war victims. Blood alone would be an acceptable offering, or sex."

[dracoslytherin]

He wrinkles his nose. "I don't think so...," he says to the latter. "How much blood would you need?" He adds warily.

[nordicsunshine]

Freyr looked amused. "How rich do you want to be? You can't be stingy with gods, if you expect to reap any blessings."

[dracoslytherin]

"Actually I need the peace more than the riches. Riches, I already have."

[nordicsunshine]

"Peace is harder to grant. I can give you a peaceable spirit, to not start fights, but I cannot promise that others will not start fights upon you. It's much easier for the war gods to bring war than it is for me to maintain peace."

[dracoslytherin]

"It'd be enough that they'd treat me with respect."

[nordicsunshine]

"That is beyond my power." Freyr smiled, amused. "Respect must be won. If you would be respected, then respect others in their turn, and you may earn it. I can bless you, to make it easier to be peaceable and virtuous, and others will likely react in kind. I can do no more."
