Stephen Black was becoming accustomed to being pulled from one place to another by way of magic. In fact, it was becoming something of a nuisance. This time was a bit more odd though. One moment he had just finished folding some of Sir Walter Pole's nightshirts and was in the process of putting them in the wardrobe when he happened to glance up and find himself in a different house.

Stephen sighed and stood there, still holding the nightshirts. This did not seem to be quite the gentleman with thistle-down hair's style but it was the only possible explanation.

"Sir?"

Typist: Bandwagon jumping! (Except not, he's been kicking around for a while.) Stephen Black, a butler, is from Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. He has been under the gentleman's spell for about a year or so and knows nothing of plans to make him king, name finding, or incidents with mill-stones.  (And if anyone can find an actual painting that looks like him I would be much obliged.)
