silliness

Ganymede has found his way (to his great delight) up a tree. He's really quite high up there, all but hidden by the branches, but if one happens to be looking, they'll likely see him. And once they do, Ganymede shall certainly encourage that person to climb up and join him.

And if they don't notice him-- well, then he'll probably drop something on

*Ilmarinen lives in the woods--so it's natural if he should happen to pass under a tree*

Taking care to aim well, Ganymede will drop one, two, three little nuts he found. Ilmarinen will probably find that rather less natural.

*looks up--and laughs heartily at the silhouette of a boy in the tree* What is this? A bird perched up there?

"Ay, sir!" he calls down, laughing, too.

Richard has moved from his room to the gardens. He is still trying to find out what to do, and try not to worry too much over the fact he hasn't seen Tom since he was a woman. He's rather failing at both, but at least failing outdoors is more pleasant than failing indoors, on the whole.

For Richard, Ganymede will give the branch he's perched on a few great shakes, sending down all manner of leaves and twigs and a few nuts that she tosses after, for good measure.

Richard looks up, confused, but then smiles when he sees Ganymede. "What, sir, have you decided to turn squirrel on us?"

"Perchance." He grins. "May I bid you join me?"

*Consiel is wandering about, and mumbling classifications of flora under his breath. Happily, he is aquainted with most of the trees here, if not with their inhabitants.*

Then he'll probably think it somewhat odd when a shower of nuts and twigs suddenly rain down upon him.

*jumps, rubs eyes and looks up.*

Hello? Excuse me?

Karla looks up from where she's just begun reading at the base of the tree, hearing a rustle from above. She notes the figure in the branches, frowns, and asks loudly of the general assembly, "What is it with this place and people in trees?"

"Know you many?" he asks, surprised.

"Know me what?" says Karla sharply. "Don't you mean, "d'you know many?" And I've seen one just a few days ago. Yelling her lungs out." She grins. "It was fun, too."

"Here did I think me a pioneer," he says with a dramatic sigh, idly dropping a nut down onto Karla.

And as it happens, Haleth happens to pause and lean against this very tree on her way back to the Mansion from whatever it is she does with her time -- throwing-knife practice, knowing her. She's concerned with the world at ground-level, though, and not exactly expecting Shakespeareans in the foliage.

And said Shakespearian cheerfully sends down yet another shower of nuts and leaves and twigs.

"Hey!" She rather squeaks at the bombardment, and peers up into the tangled branches, amused. "Is it man up there, or mischievous squirrel?"

"'tis not one, nor the other," Ganymede replies, very innocent. The high pitch of the voice probably reveals what he means-- it's a boy, not a man.
