Holden figured he was drunk as hell, because he didn't remember ever having seen this place before in his life. Not to mention that he'd been expecting, after leaving the bar, to be outside. But he had managed to wander into some kind of goddam mansion. He took the red hunting hat out of the pocket of his houndstooth coat and put it on. That was better, although he still had no goddam clue where he was. He felt like calling someone up more than ever before, but that didn't seem to be possible. Especially since he seemed to be in someone else's house, for Chrissake. He contemplated walking around pretending he had a bullet in his stomach, but somehow that didn't seem quite as fun as it had the last time he'd done it.

Typist: Holden Caulfield, from The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Reset if necessary, although my impression of his activity is that nothing really needs to be reset.
Man, this is hard to do in third person. XD
