If Gideon Prewett seems tired, it's because he has a job to do. It's not that it's harder to do than any other job, it's that it is a job. She comes across the note not long after it's pinned up. She remembers Gideon, of course, they might not have been in the same house, but he was kind of obvious, even if they never actually talked.

He was a professor now? Wonders would never cease. She grins to herself as she turns to continue up the corridor.

Gideon hasn't gone that far. And yeah, tis amazing that a dead guy is working at Hogwarts, but the DADA position is hard to keep filled. It's easier than convincing the Ministry that he isn't dead anymore.

He stares at her back, since he'd gotten used to most people here being older since he knows time has passed. "Miss Black?" he calls. "Andromeda Black?"

She turns around, a little startled, not having heard anyone else in the corridor. "Oh! Gideon, wasn't it?" She thinks she recognises him, but again, he's older than she expected, even if she theoretically knew it already.

He isn't that much older than expected, but yes, a little. He's only 2 years older than when he died, which was only a few years after of school. And his responsibilities do add that slightly harried, careworn look that teachers get sometimes. "Yes, I didn't expect to see you here."
