Armand very nearly turns and leaves when he sees who is in the kitchen, but doesn't. He hopes his hesitation isn't obvious since he'd not want to hurt Lady Marian for the world, and she makes the best nutbread. He smiles a shy hello, and takes a pieces of that and then looks for milk in the fridge.

There is a flinch there, he tries hard to hide. Gee, isn't this milk interesting? "I wonder if you'd be willing to teach Chris. I bet these would be a hit in Paris."
