After a week of waffling, Booster Events has cancelled Flanvention II at the last minute. The very last minute--some flans had already arrived at the hotel, while many others (including some from as far away as Australia) were in the air en route.

I got my Done The Impossible DVD last week and watched a good chunk of it last night. It's pretty cool and has a lot of bonus features. I was a bit sad that the June 23 preview screenings weren't specifically mentioned in the Interactive Timeline as that was the one I actually went to. But that's a pretty minor quibble. The long-awaited Done the Impossible: The Fans' Tale of Firefly & Serenity is finally set for release. For those of you who are going, it'll be shown at Comic-Con on Saturday night at 8 pm in Room 6B. They're taking pre-orders for the DVD here.
