*waves hand* A bit knowledgeable about things Christian here, and I have a clarification to make.
That passage is actually about paying taxes. If all money "belonged to Ceasar," as you said... well, then that's an argument for Communism, which is definitely not how the Roman government worked or how the American government works. While I'm not agaist Communism, a lot of people are, and would be offended if you claimed that Jesus said that all money belongs to the government (and that's not even communism, because Communism says everything belongs to everyone, not to the government.. that's totalitarianism, and even I don't think that's a good idea)
To make it more clear, I'll get rid of the KJV (which is a dumb translation, but that's a whole other rant) and replace it with The Message, which I heart muchly.
Mark 12: 13-17 (because there aren't really verse numbers in the Message, because verse numbers were placed stupidly, but that, too, is a whole different rant)
13-14They sent some Pharisees and followers of Herod to bait

Also, don't think I think your use of KJV translates any way to you. After all, what you know about Christianity mostly comes from your crazy grandmother. And I just have issues with KJV, but as I said, that's a whole different rant and if it belongs anywhere, it belongs in my LJ, not in the comments of your LJ. :P
