BLAH.... Okay so here it goes... Life as of late.

I'm living in a house in muncie now with Tyler (My boyfriend for those of you who don't know), Roommate (Who's real name is Kelsey and has been my roommate since August of 2004 and is lately more of a room-next-door mate.) John (Roommate's Boyfriend) and Angelo (John's roommate since August of 2004) Everything there is going alright. No real complaints.

I'm working at Blockbuster. It kind of blows and I'm looking for a better paying job because today I found out that I am no longer eligible for Finacial aid even though mom doesn't really help me out and she gave me the whole "I'll help you out" promise that is always left unfufilled. I digress, as I mentioned before blockbuster kind of blows. I don't mind most of the people with whom I work. I think some don't like me and it's pretty difficult to find someone with movie tastes similar to mine in a town such as this, but such is life. Speaking of reccomending movies today in the drop-box attached to Analyze This was a note I'd like to share:

"I would not recommend this movie to anyone. The language is horrible. This was my 1st experience renting movie. I now understand that when I asked for a reccomendation that I must ask for a movie fit to watch. I'm ashamed of my inexperience & that I spend God's money on some thing so trashy.
Sincerely,
..."
Yep... That's a direct quote. Now, I've never seen Analyze this and it isn't a movie that I'd recommend to anyone. I am, however, very happy that I didn't reccommend something to her because I could only imagine what she would have said in response to The Aristocrats... This aside I'm going to pick apart this thoughtfully written letter. Now I could easily go into the incorrect grammar, but I won't for two reasons:

1)I'm not entirely sure that this post is free of the occasional error.
2) It's just way too easy...

What I would like to mention, however, is this I am not and do not claim to be knowlegeable in anything considered Christian. Some traces of things I learned from a combination of going to Catholic School and from my Grandma, do remain etched in my brain. One of the things I remember is an event in the new testament where Jesus mentions something about how money is made in Ceasar's image and how that money, then belongs to ceasar. I looked it up and I found that in the book of mark chapter 12 verses 14-17 it says the following:

14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
16 And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.
17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

I do have a point with this and it is. How the fuck does this woman figure the precious $2.50 she spent on this movie in any way belongs to God? The bible clearly states that the money is not God's.. It belongs to Ceasar or something...

Other than this, work is just boring. I have the occasional favorite customer and asshole come in to shake things up, but they tend to balance each other out so the days are either mediocre or they suck.

Together work and house pretty much make up my rather bland life... So I guess that's all I have to report.
